NAD+ SHOTS

Have you seen all the celebs talking about NAD+? Interested on how it might help you? NAD+ Shots help accelerate the healing of muscles, tissues and cells in just 5 minutes.

NAD+ is a natural occurring coenzyme that declines with aging. Maintaining NAD+ levels can minimize cellular aging and chronic diseases.

Supplementation of NAD+ may help;

  • Generate energy

  • Protect cells from stress

  • Delay aging

  • Improves immune system & function

  • Regulates internal clock & improve sleep quality

  • Improve athletic performance

  • Restore muscle function

  • Improve cognition

  • Enhance mental clarity

  • Enhance mental alertness

  • Increase concentration and memory

  • Decrease inflammation

  • Helps repair damaged DNA

  •  Helps with chronic fatigue

  • Increase serotonin, improve mood & decrease depression

  • Decreases cravings

  • High doses of NAD+ can improve addictive behaviors.

What to expect-

You will need medical clearance before receiving your first dose. Each appointment will take no longer than 15 minutes. You can receive up to 8 shots a month depending on your schedule.

How Does NAD+ IM Shot Therapy Work?
NAD+ IM Shots are made up of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD). Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide is a naturally occurring chemical and coenzyme that slowly decreases over time. NAD plays a crucial role in hundreds of processes throughout the body like the production of energy, DNA repair, regulating metabolism, cellular function and repair of your DNA. It also helps keep your immune and digestive systems functioning at an optimal level.  The mitochondria are known as the “powerhouse” of the cell, and your body requires healthy mitochondria to feel energized and at its best. When there’s a decrease of NAD in the body, this negatively affects mitochondrial health because they’re not able to repair the damage as well.  Over time, accumulating mitochondria damage can lead to various issues such as decreased energy levels and age-related health issues. Because the NAD+ IM Shot is injected directly into muscle tissue, the nutrients are gradually absorbed into the bloodstream, increasing the bioavailability. IM Shots can be more effective than oral ingestion since shots bypass the first-pass metabolism, which can make oral supplements less effective. At Restore, your experience includes a complimentary Cryotherapy prep session—so you get two times the potential energy and healing—all in under 15 minutes! Through the use of NAD+ IM Shot Therapy, these time-saving injections deliver the same benefits to our NAD+ IV Drips in a fraction of the time, helping to facilitate the healing of your cells, muscles and tissues.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

Patients should not undergo NAD+ therapy if they have:

-A history of any active or recent (within five years) malignancies, particularly hormone-

sensitive cancers such as breast, ovarian, prostate, or testicular cancer

-Uncontrolled hypertension or cardiovascular disease

-Severe liver or kidney disease

-A known allergy to NAD+ or any ingredients in the infusion

-A history of severe reactions to intravenous infusions

Some side effects of NAD therapy include:

While NAD+ therapy is generally well-tolerated, potential risks and side effects may include:

- Flushing, warmth, or sweating during infusion

- Nausea, dizziness, or lightheadedness

- Headache or mild discomfort at the injection site

- Possible blood pressure fluctuations

- Risk of allergic reaction (rare)

- Temporary discomfort or cramping due to infusion speed

In rare cases, IV therapy may cause vein irritation, infection, or clot formation. Patients with

preexisting medical conditions should discuss potential risks with their provider.

ADVERSE EVENTS:

1. Accumulation of Toxic Metabolites: High doses of NAD+ precursors, such as

nicotinamide (NAM), can lead to the accumulation of toxic metabolites like

methylnicotinamide. This metabolite has been implicated in various diseases and

conditions, including liver damage and insulin resistance.

2. Tumorigenesis: There is a theoretical risk that increasing NAD+ levels could promote

tumorigenesis. This is due to the role of NAD+ in supporting cellular metabolism and

DNA repair, which could potentially aid the survival and proliferation of cancer cells.

However, this has not been conclusively demonstrated in human studies.

3. Cellular Senescence: Elevated NAD+ levels may promote cellular senescence, a state of

permanent cell cycle arrest that can contribute to tissue dysfunction and aging. This is

particularly concerning in the context of chronic high-dose NAD+ precursor

supplementation.

4. Mitochondrial Dysfunction: High doses of NAD+ precursors, such as nicotinamide

riboside (NR) and nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN), have been shown to cause

mitochondrial dysfunction and oxidative stress in certain cell types. This can lead to

cytotoxicity, particularly in cells with high metabolic activity, such as hepatocytes.

5. General Side Effects: Common side effects reported in clinical trials include muscle

pain, nervous disorders, fatigue, sleep disturbances, and headaches. These side effects are

generally mild and do not pose a serious risk to health.

6. Epigenetic Alterations: Chronic high-dose administration of NAD+ precursors can alter

cellular methyl metabolism, affecting DNA and protein methylation. This can lead to

changes in the cellular transcriptome and proteome, potentially impacting gene

expression and cellular function.
